BALI is the Groovies shoe that clearly decided practice footwear was allowed to have fun. The Leopard finish gives it instant personality, while the clean white sole keeps the whole look modern and trainer-like. It's playful enough for a social night, but underneath the print is a very practical dance shoe.

Unlike the split-sole Groovies Trainer, BALI uses a full sneaker-style sole, giving the foot a more continuous, cushioned platform from heel to toe. That creates a grounded trainer feel which is particularly appealing for long classes, social dancing and dancers who prefer more substance beneath the foot.

The clever part is underneath. Dedicated spinning points are positioned beneath the forefoot and heel, allowing the shoe to rotate more easily than an ordinary rubber-soled sneaker. Instead of the floor grabbing the sole through every pivot, the spinning areas help the dancer turn with less resistance - particularly useful for Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba and social Ballroom or Latin dancing. PortDance developed the Groovies concept around smooth, fast turns and easy movement.

Inside, a removable anatomical insole adds cushioning and support, while the lightweight construction keeps BALI comfortable through longer sessions. The familiar lace-up trainer shape also makes the fit easy to adjust through the instep.
